INFORMATION FOR BOATERS
Where to Anchor
Smaller vessels will be anchored closest to the markers whilst large vessels will anchor behind them (see map above). Prime viewing space is limited so you are encouraged to arrive early to grab a spot. The number of boats will be determined by the availability of space on a first-come, first-served basis.
The Toronto Police Services Marine Unit will be on site. Markers will be placed on the screen's south side to mark the line boaters must anchor behind. Boaters are advised to use caution in the area and to take direction from the Marine Unit.
How to Listen
You can listen to the movie audio through your boat or portable radio. Movie audio will be broadcast on radio frequencies 95.50000 MHz and 100.50000 MHz.
PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL BOAT OPERATORS MUST HAVE A POWERED VESSEL OPERATOR'S PERMIT AND A Pleasure Craft Operator Card

FAQs
What if I have a rowboat, kayak or canoe?
We recommend that you watch from land or use a powered vessel. The screen will be set on a barge and smaller, manpowered vessels may have their sightlines obstructed by the barge.
Please note that only human powered craft outfitted with night time navigation, as per the Canada Shipping Act, are permitted on water after dark.
For questions regarding your craft, please contact the Harbour Master's office at 416-462-1227.
Can I anchor overnight?
Unfortunately there is no anchoring in the port and harbour of Toronto without the Harbour Master's permission. For Sail-In Cinema there is a waiver of this rule only for the period of the movie, but afterwards boaters are required to leave this area.
Is food available for boaters?
We recommend bringing your own food and snacks for the evening as there are no food outlets reachable by boat. However, our hospitality boat will be out and about throughout the evening delivering extra movie treats to boaters in attendance.
